If you're an outdoors enthusiast, you'll love what the City of Sauk Rapids has to offer.  The City has a comprehensive park plan that will ensure that our natural resources will be preserved for future generations.  There are over 20 beautiful City Parks with a variety of recreational options including playground equipment, splash pad, wading pool, picnic areas, walking trails, ice rinks, basketball courts, pickleball courts, ball fields, and much more.

Sauk Rapids is also proud to be the home of the Benton County Historical Society and two major summer events:  Rapids River Days and the Benton County Fair. Sauk Rapids also offers its residents and visitors a Farmer's Market, which runs from early summer to early fall. In addition to summer fun the City of Sauk Rapids offers residents and visitors year-round activities including the annual Fire Department Open House in October and the annual Sauk Rapids Downtown Jingle & Mingle celebration in December.
