Odd/Even Lawn Sprinkling Reminder

Section 3.70 of Sauk Rapids City Code, entitled, "Water Use Regulations", restricts the use of water from the City's water supply for lawn for lawn sprinkling or irrigation to odd numbered days for addresses ending with an odd number and even numbered days for addresses ending with an even number.  The City recommends sprinkling between 6:00AM and 10:00AM or between 6:00PM and 10:00PM to avoid excessive evaporation and to make the best use of this precious natural resource.

Temporary (30-day) permits for new lawns (sod or seed) are available from the Sauk Rapids Police Department.
