FAIRVIEW FARMS PARK

PARK SIZE:             2.61 Acres

DESCRIPTION:       This is the second park to be a city owned park that is homeowner association maintained.  It has a walking path around the holding pond and 2 docks for observation.  It also overlooks a large wetland.

HISTORY:                 This park was dedicated to the City in 2004 through the Fairview Farm Plat.

FACILITIES:             Playground equipment, swings, benches, park shelter with picnic tables, observation docks, walking trail. The length of the walking trail is approximately 0.17 miles.

FUTURE GOALS:   To connect the trail to a Regional Trail System.

FEATURES:             There is a large open wetland with diverse species of plants and wildlife.  The picnic shelter is large enough for family gatherings.
