Medication and Sharps Drop Boxes Located at Sauk Rapids Government Center (Police Entrance)

Starting on October 28, 2025, the Sauk Rapids Police Department is expanding safe disposal options with newly installed drop boxes for medications and sharps.  Residents may drop unused medication (prescription and over-the-counter drugs) or sharps in the drop boxes at the Sauk Rapids Government Center (Police Entrance) between 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday.  Reminder: Do not flush unused medication down the drain or throw them into the trash.  Not disposing of unused medication properly may mean that pharmaceutical waste can end up in the ground water and harm the environment.
