Ice Skating Rink Information

Did you know that the City of Sauk Rapids offers two ice skating rinks with warming houses for your winter skating enjoyment? The Sauk Rapids Recreation Board would like to remind all of the users of the rinks, including hockey players, to use proper safety gear, which includes wearing a helmet when on the ice.  Because of the high interest for youth hockey, the City has created a special rink for youth ages 12 and under.

The Public Works Department would like to remind those interested in using the ice skating rinks that it is the primary responsibility of warming house staff to ensure the safety of those using the ice skating rinks.  The Sauk Rapids Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of the facilities and the ice skating rinks. Please Note: The ice skating rinks with no attendants will follow general City of Sauk Rapids park rules.  Subd. 2. Park Hours: All parks shall be opened no earlier than 6:00 o'clock a.m. and closed at 10:00 o'clock p.m. All persons shall be obligated to abide by all of the posted park rules and regulations.
