Sauk Rapids is an acknowledged leader in Central Minnesota when assisting businesses and industries in the development  of incentive packages for financing new locations or expansions.

The City has industrial parks located on the outskirts of three different areas of the City.  There is a diverse mix of manufacturing, light industrial, heavy industrial and retail.

In addition, our citizens have taken pride in the redevelopment and revitalization of the downtown area that occurred during the 1990's.  A drugstore, restaurant, several retail/service businesses, gas station/convenience store and an expanded grocery store gave the downtown area a whole new look.
